The Mayfly/Dragonfly series was created when founding The Dragon Gallery. A series about golden opportunities and making the most of each day. All works are on circular canvas using techniques from fluid pouring to dry brush.

The Butterflies are something more personal.

Works vary in size from 20cm-80cm

The New Year full moon is one of the strongest moons to manifest new begginings. During a full moon, the moon has heightened energy that is beneficial to manifestation. Manifesting at a full moon can help amplify your desires and attract what you want even quicker than normal. To take advantage of this energy, you should say your desire aloud and repeat it in the moonlight.

I now recognise them quickly and have learnt from those lessons and for that I am grateful.

Respecting and honouring the power of pure and gentle feminity, owning that crown, not putting up with anything less than deserving or anyone who doesn't respect, value or honour their Queen. Though shalt be tossed out of the nest, and left for other insects to devour, whist the Queen continues to glow in all her golden light and shine on all that those that value and respect her.

In some cultures, dragonflies represent good luck or prosperity. So make a wish when you see a dragonfly and it’ll come true.

In China, they represent harmony, good luck, and prosperity. This might relate to the belief that the dragonfly is the soul of a dragon.

In America, one Native American myth suggests that dragonflies were originally dragons. A coyote tricked a dragon into shapeshifting, and it couldn’t change back. As a result, the dragonfly symbolises change, speed, and illusion.

Dragonflies appear in Navajo sand paintings. Where images show them near water, they represent the water’s purity.
